Look in the dictionary under lap cat and you will see a picture of this little girl! Her name is Jennifer and her favorite place is snuggling in someones lap. She was declawed by a previous owner and put out where she was found in a feral colony and wasnt getting along too well. She has now had all her vaccinations, been tested for diseases, has been spayed and is ready for a forever home. And she is one of the sweetest cats to every walk the earth. Thats the good part. Now for the not so good part she is partially deaf and we suspect her vision is not too good. She also acts like her front, declawed feet are bothering her as she will not jump down (or up) from anything. She has kidney problems and needs to eat a special food sold by most vets. (It is kind of expensive but she eats very little and a small bag lasts about 2 months.) And if you look in the dictionary under scaredy cat her picture is there also. She does not get along well with other pets dogs or cats she is small and they scare her. The same goes for noisy households. She will make a single person or an older couple a wonderful companion provided they have comfortable laps. In spite of all her problems she is a wonderful, sweet, loving cat and will steal your heart!! Note her foster mom loves her to pieces and will be making a home visit to anyone who might be a good candidate for her and will be following up with home visits to check on her condition. Because of this, only those who live in the Charleston, St. Albans and surrounding areas need apply.
